I'm happy to announce that the bot is going into its next phase, the closed beta. During this phase we'll be working on our final iterations, patching things up, and adding the last few things that are missing.
Because of the nature of it being closed, it is still invite only, but it will be better managed, and you can now contact me to get accepted rather than waiting on a private invite.
Encryption!
Most data related to logs is now encrypted. That means that I can no longer read or troubleshoot things that aren't authorised by you. Even if my server ever gets taken over by whatever, none of that data is readable, as it's all encrypted client side. Regarding the specifics of it, please consult our security and privacy terms.
What is currently available?
Currently there's a wide range of things available: the overview and analytics, leveling with the backfill feature, our dependable notifications system, moderation from both the web and commands, logs, access control, reaction roles and autoroles, and a range of customisable fun commands. It's all there, and configurable both through the web and through Discord commands, to a limited degree. You can customise everything on the web; the commands are a bit behind, but we're working on it.
What if I don't want to use the web?
While the commands are a bit behind, we're also working on porting everything so it has command support, plus a web opt-out for those who do not trust the bot logging things, basically putting it on a need-to-know basis. We still however recommend just encrypting everything, and of course, even with encryption we encourage the use of PGP when writing messages as notes on moderations and such.
What's next?
We plan to finish the last things off, whether that's the AI chat, which will be useful for automatic ticket handling and other fun things for our premium members, white labeling, and the other things we have planned. Especially wiring up our plans to make payments available, so we can start putting money into developing the bot to a higher standard. We appreciate your support.
