Lunar is in closed alpha

I'm glad to announce that the backbone is finally live, and that the website and Lunar are officially in the closed alpha stage. It means it is not open to everyone yet, apart from a few testers I have hand picked, but it also means we are making steady progress.

What is currently available?

Currently the systems are changing rapidly and nothing specific is available to its full extent. As we march more towards closed beta, you'll see everything mentioned in our roadmap actually take place, slowly and carefully. Also, for the testers, you'll see your own reports and vision come to light, as I take suggestions very seriously and patch everything we find, together.

What's waiting for us?

I hope that when we're in the closed beta, we'll have most of the original roadmap complete, or at least partially at its end state. Whether that be data encryption, the full features to make the bot operational, or the dashboard and other menus taking on their own branding and a better look, it will be for the better, and more efficient. Either way, as things change, I'll make sure to reflect it in our roadmap as usual.

Will the bot become freemium?

Yes, I am planning to monetise the bot in the future, to support its running costs, to let me focus on it more thanks to that support, and of course to offer a much better plan than other bots currently do, while doing things differently, for everyone. As a previous server owner myself, I know it hurts financially and operationally otherwise, and I would rather not sell your data.
